Wegmans In Wilmington is opening this week. The Grand Opening Day and time is Wednesday, October 26 at 9am.
The long awaited day is almost here. The 84,ooo square-foot supermarket will be Wegmans first location opening in The First State. The newest Wegmans will be located at 371 Buckley Mill Road Wilmington, DE 19807.
According to the Wegman’s website, the store will include a delicious array of food options. These options will include a Burger Bar, Restaurant Foods Section, Sushi Bar, Fresh Produce and Seafood, and so much more. Customers will have so much to enjoy while experiencing the great Wegmans service they know and love.
In addition, the site also states that they are now looking to hire new team members. Candidates can get an early start learning and training at a variety of Southeast Pennsylvania Stores. These locations include Concordville, Malvern, Downingtown and King of Prussia. Anyone who might be interested will be eligible for reimbursement for mileage and travel time. How cool is that?

You can’t really go wrong with a quick bite. A recent study revealed Delaware’s favorite fast food chains.
Saving Spot recently released their list of favorite fast food chains across America.
According to their study “We identified the best-known fast-food chains for burgers, pizza, doughnuts, chicken and Mexican food. Then we located the branches of these in every state and the 50 most populous cities and analyzed the ratings they have on Google Maps. We created a weighted averaging system to calculate the top- and bottom-rated fast-food chains in each region.”
They also found out that Chick-Fil-A is the most popular chain overall in America.
They also found:
- Chick-fil-A is the top-rated fast-food chain in most states (34) and big cities (27 out of 50).
- Papa John’s is the lowest-rated chain in 16 states, more than any other chain.
- On a state-by-state basis, Five Guys is America’s favorite burger joint, and McDonald’s and Burger King are tied for America’s worst.
- 21 big cities rate Domino’s the lowest among fast-food chains — more than any other brand.

New Jersey Was Named A Top State For Weddings
Wedding season seemingly never ends. So if you are planning nuptials keep in mind that New Jersey was named a top state for weddings.
According to a new study by Rare Carat “Americans will spend $68.7 billion in 2022 on wedding rings, venues, dinner, music, flowers, photography and more — up from $25.7 billion in 2020.”
The online diamond store released their rankings of where the most weddings are being held.
They took into account multiple factors. Rare Carat analyzed Bureau of Labor Statistics data on annual pay and employment across five occupations in the wedding industry: event planners, jewelers, florists, photographers and bakers.
New Jersey ranked #10 on the recently released list. “New Jersey comes in at No. 10 on the list of the hottest states for the wedding industry in 2022, according to a new study.The study found that bakers in New Jersey make an average of $37,950 per year” according to Fox News.
