Its spooky season and the time when the Wags, Witches, and Warlocks Parade And Festival Comes To Delaware.
Bethany Beach will be the sight of the ghoulish good time.
According to the Cape Gazette “The Leslie Kopp Group of Long & Foster Real Estate announced the Wags, Witches & Warlocks Halloween Festival and Parade is set for Saturday, Oct. 29, in Bethany Beach. The event brings families and pets to the coastal town for a day of fun while raising funds for the Brandywine Valley SPCA in Georgetown to help kick start a Paws for Change program in Sussex County.”
The Indian River High School Marching band will lead the festivities and parade.
A costume contest will commence at 10 a.m. alongside the parade.

Wags, Witches, and Warlocks will feature crafts for kids, story time at Bethany Beach Books and trick-or-treating at approximately 50 participating businesses throughout town from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Simply look for the trick-or-treat flag at the businesses to know if they are participating or not.
Proceeds from the event will benefit our friends at the Brandywine Valley SPCA. Donations of $10 for an individual/dog and $30 a family are strongly encouraged.
The day’s schedule is as follows:
9:00am Registration Opens ~ Bethany Beach Bandstand
10:00am Parade Begins, Garfield Pkwy
10:30am Costume Contest Awards Presentation
11am-1pm Trick-or-Treating & Halloween Fun
Businesses with flags are participating!
The rain date for this event will be on October 30th.
The goal of the event is to raise $20,ooo and the coordinators are about halfway there! You can donate here.
