Delaware City Day Parade Recap
The Delaware City Day Parade was this past weekend! If you didn’t attend, Hollywood Kyle captured some of the moments throughout the parade. At the event, there were food vendors, craft vendors, and local shops with tons of tents to explore. Each year, Delaware City hosts a parade to celebrate the small town of Delaware.
People line the streets and cheer on the parade as they walk by, some of the floats throwing candy along the way to children on the sidelines. The shops that are on the main strip are also open for parade-attendees to stop by for a quick bite or shopping.
Members of the parade included the Delaware City Fire Hall, the NUR Pirate Unit, cheer squads from local schools, dance teams, Miss Delaware Grace Otley, local shops, old antique cars, and so much more.
The parade was an excellent family fun way to get in the mood for fall and Halloween too! Some attendees even dressed up as Star Wars characters. Darth Vader tried to use the force on Hollywood Kyle as you can see in the pictures below. Luckily, he made it out alive!
