Pink Cheesesteak Available Just Outside Of Delaware
We all love the classic sandwich but what if I told you there was a pink cheesesteak available just outside of Delaware?
The Pink Cheesesteak is available at the legendary Spataro’s Cheesesteaks inside the infamous Reading Terminal Market.
According to Philly Voice the pink cheese will be “American cheese with pink food coloring and will sell the pink cheesesteaks for $15 apiece.”
The Pink Cheeseteak will be available until October 15th.
According to Philly Voice “Spataro’s is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is located under the neon red Liberty Bell sign at Reading Terminal Market.”
The sandwich will benefit A Women’s Place which is the only domestic violence benefit in Bucks County.
According to their website A Women’s Place was “Founded in 1976, A Woman’s Place (AWP) is the only domestic violence community benefit organization in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. AWP provides a full range of programs and services to individuals experiencing domestic violence, their children, and the community.”
They also provide:

- 24-hour hotline
- Counseling
- Support groups
- Emergency shelter
- Financial empowerment programs
- Leadership program
Reading Terminal Market is a legendary Philadelphia staple and Spataro’s has been serving up cheesesteaks for 75 years!
The Market has a RICH history and their website says “The Reading Terminal Market opened for business on February 22, 1893. The street-level Market reverberated with the sound of trains rumbling overhead. The stalls were laid out in a grid pattern with twelve aisles running east-west and four wider avenues running north-south. Sawdust was spread on the floor to absorb spills and moisture rising from the vast cold storage facility in the basement. By 1913 the Market was booming, with 250 food dealers and 100 farmers occupying its stalls.”
