Beer Wine and Spirits Fest Coming To Delaware

The selection of drinks in the first state is exceptional, so its a no-brainer that a beer, wine, and spirits fest is coming to Delaware.

This Saturday August 27th will bring the 12th annual Delaware Beer, Wine, and Spirits Festival back to Dover.

The Delaware Beer, Wine, and Spirits Festival will be from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Delaware Agricultural Museum and Village in Dover.

You can however enter the festival early! There is VIP option for guests to enter at 4 p.m. This tier of ticketing is very limited as only 100 guests can buy the pass.

Guest will be able to sample amazing and abundant local creations. This is the only statewide festival that will include all of Delaware’s alcohol producers.

Local craft beer, wine, and spirits will all be made locally.

Guests will be able to meet brewers and enjoy local music as well. The full musical lineup can be found here.

Guests will also be able to vote on their favorite creations!

Partial proceeds from the Delaware Beer, Wine, and Spirits Festival will benefit Dover Air Force Base Ball.

According to the Cape Gazette the Mojo Loco and Woody’s on Wheels food trucks will be onsite.

The Delaware Beer, Wine, and Spirits Festival will happen no matter what! According to their website there’s “No gambling on the weather – Rain or shine! In case of bad weather we are able to move the event indoors.”

Tickets range in price for this event. Tickets purchased this week will run you $75. This includes:

•Unlimited tastings
•Live music
•Self-serve water stations
•Fun festival games
•Food trucks

Designated driver tickets are only $15 and entire tables that seat eight guests can be purchased for $210. Tickets can be purchased here.

Cost Of Beer At Every NFL Stadium

The NFL season is just around the corner.  Whether you’re an Eagles fan and are just a short drive from the Linc or a fan of another team a short drive or plane ride away, beer is probably going to be on your mind when you head into the game.   So, what is the cost of a beer at every NFL stadium?  How do the Eagles prices stack up?  We will tell you soon.

Every year, sports business data firm Team Marketing Report releases its NFL Fan Cost Index and what they found, the price of beer differs from stadium to stadium across the country. Statista has really good data on this, too.  And the price of a beer seems to be totally unrelated to how good the team is. A beer at a Jaguars game is double what they charge in Cincinnati at a Bengals game.  They could charge more. Some teams are charging upwards of $11 which is why some  fans across the country may choose to tailgate for an extra hour. Maybe a lower priced option should be available? The Washington Commanders have no business charging for beer at all. They should make beer free to anyone willing to buy a ticket.   With some of these prices you should have your own bartender or at least get a free hot dog out of it! Sheesh!

Keep in mind that inflation is running pretty high right now, so these prices could go up!
