Mutt Of The Week: Ranger
Arryn from the Brandywine Valley SPCA stopped by Deanna and Justin in the Morning with the Mutt of the Week: Ranger.
Thanks to Matt Fetick and the Fetick team at Keller Williams for powering our Mutt of the Week.
You can find out more about Ranger by clicking here.
Ranger was found about two blocks away from the New Castle location as a stray. He was found alongside another dog as well.
He is a mixed breed dog and has black and white colors. Ranger is 7 years old and is a little shy at first but warms up to people quickly.
He does well in his playgroups and likes other dogs.
This weekend on August 27th is the annual “Clear the Shelters” event. This promotion runs nationally.
“Clear the Shelters” means all adoption fees are waved for dogs, cats, bunnies, etc.
If you are looking to adopt you just need to follow a few simple steps:
- Stop into the shelter and meet the animals you’re interested in
- Complete an Adoption Application
- Meet with one of our Adoption Counselors
- Head home with your new furry friend
To find out more about “Clear the Shelters” and to see a list of the current adoptable animals click here.
According to their website the Brandywine Valley SPCA’s mission is to “put the “human” back in humane animal treatment and advocate on their behalf. Our vision is to be the recognized leader in animal welfare that empowers communities to treat life with respect and dignity.
If you would like to visit with Ranger you can drop by the Brandywine Valley SPCA at 600 South Street New Castle, DE 19720.
