Seacrets is Planning a New Location
A renowned beach bar is looking to expand. The Ocean City hotspot Seacrets is planning a new location.
Seacrets is one of Ocean City’s most well known bars. Some may even argue its world famous!
From its giant dance floors, to multiple bars, to plethora of cover bands its always a memorable time at Seacrets.
The bar is now planning an expansion into Virginia.
The new location will feature a more laidback vibe according to Delmarva Online.
Chincoteague Island will feature this new take on Seacrets coming in 2024. The plans include a a rock bar, a tiki bar, a takeout station, and a restaurant on a much more smaller scale then the Seacrets that exists now.
The new spot will be bayside and located on the south end of Chincoteague and will be modeled after the late 80’s version of the original bar.
Seacrets is known for its amazing food, and the new location will not skimp on the classics. The menu will feature items flavored with their jerk seasonings and of course oysters.
The Seacrets in Ocean City, Maryland does feature a distillery but the new location will not.
The Caribbean themed restaurant and bar opened in 1988 inspired by the owner’s travels to Jamaica.
Chincoteague Island is known for its wild horses! The Chincoteague herd is maintained by the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company and every year the island has a Ponie Swim.
According to their website “Tens of thousands of spectators from around the world gather on Chincoteague Island each year to watch this annual tradition. ”
Visitors to Chincoteague Island won’t only be able to enjoy the famous wild horses, but will now get to experience an Ocean City, Maryland staple as Seacrets is planning a new location. \
