Travis Manion Beer Offered by the Phillies
A new brew is coming to South Philly. Citizens Bank Park will feature a Travis Manion Beer Offered by the Phillies.
The Phillies are closing in on the playoffs and we are ready to celebrate. Now you can watch the Fightins and celebrate the life of an American hero.
“If Not Me, Then Who…” is a tribute beer brewed by Doylestown Brewing Co. in collaboration with the Travis Manion Foundation.
According to their website, the Travis Manion Foundation “strives to unite and strengthen communities by training, developing, and highlighting the role models that lead them.”
They also work to develop, train, and design programs and opportunities to empower veterans and the families of the fallen.
This new brew is now being offered at Citizen’s Bank Park during Phillies games with a portion of the proceeds going to the foundation.
According to Philly Voice, “If Not Me, Then Who…” is a Blonde Ale and will also be available at selected bars and distributors in our area.
Travis Manion died in the line of duty while serving out country during a tour in Iraq. The Bucks County native was a first lieutenant and the foundation was created in his honor.
Travis was killed while saving one of his wounded soldiers.
The beer is named for a quote Travis recited before deploying. His phrase “If Not Me, Then Who…” was the inspiration for this beer that was originally brewed in a small batch 7 years ago.
After many requests to the brewery the beer was brought back and now can be enjoyed during Phillies games all while helping the Travis Mannion Foundation and honoring our fallen soldiers.
Now that the Phils are making a push toward to the playoffs its nice that Citizens Bank Park will feature a Travis Manion Beer Offered by the Phillies.
