Delaware Ranked Among Top States to Learn to Drive In
Delaware has been ranked among top states to learn to drive in. The first state JUST missed the “Top 10” of best and worst states for teen drivers.
Remember your first time learning to drive? Mine was in my high school parking lot and I just went in a circle for a half hour…but I was proud.
Learning to drive as a teen can be intimidating, luckily Delaware is amongst the top states for teen drivers.
WalletHub released new rankings for “Best and Worst State for Teen Drivers” Delaware missed the Top 10 by one spot. The state came in 11th.
Delaware also ranks 2nd fewest in teen DUI’s
The top state in the rankings was New York with Montana coming in dead last.
Delaware came in 29th overall for safety, 27th overall for economic environment, and 4th overall for driving laws.
Unfortunately , motor-vehicle accidents are the second leading cause of death of people between the ages of 16 and 19. Motor vehicle crashes involving 15- to 19-year-olds result in around $4.8 billion per year in costs from medical expenses and work loss.
