Hotel Bethany Beach Grand Opening Tomorrow
The grand opening of Hotel Bethany Beach is tomorrow, June 14th from 4:30-6:30pm. The grand opening celebration will give attendees the opportunity to tour the newly transformed hotel and meet with General Manager, Benjamin Gray; Bethany Beach Mayor, Rosemary Hardiman; and other local figures.
It will be a lively fiesta featuring live music from Caribbean Vibe Steel Drum Band; live painting by local artist Melvin Royster; lawn games; giveaways; food by Mickey’s Family Crab House; beverages, and more.
The new Hotel Bethany Beach celebrates its property-wide transformation, reimagining the hotel’s lobby, guest rooms, suites and breakfast area. Ideally located in the center of Bethany Beach, just steps away from boardwalk festivities and sandy beach, the redesign ushers in a new level of exceeding expectations. The overall design aesthetic embraces the serene, coastal respite of the destination and brings a sense of calm that permeates throughout the hotel. Hotel Bethany Beach is owned and operated by EOS Hospitality, a full-service hotel management company that specializes in operating luxury urban hotels and beach resorts in drive-to destinations.
The 100-key property has been remastered under the creative eye of New York-based, award-winning design firm, LHK Design. The lobby features unexpected outdoor furniture pieces, including a surfboard coffee table paired with hand-woven, all-weather wicker lounge chairs, conveying the spirit of beach life. The unique accent wall tile behind the front desk creates a mural that evokes nature with its wood effect and evocative shapes. The hand-blown smoke gray glass pendants over the front desk capture the eye’s attention like a piece of beach glass glistening in the sunlight. The breakfast area features a custom wall covering that reflects the feeling of dawn on the Atlantic Ocean, capturing the endless variation in each day’s sunrise. Carpet patterns are inspired by the effect of dappled sunlight as it filters through the wood fences at the beach along the dunes. Open 24-7, guests are invited to enjoy complimentary breakfast, board games and more in the expansive lobby and lounge area.
The spacious guestrooms have been updated with large windows, modern furnishings and a cozy seating area. Upgraded bathrooms feature top-of-the-line fixtures, vanities, and new showers. The guestroom headboards, nightstands, and dressers are finished with a high-contrast grained wood in white and gray that accentuates the natural grain pattern, reminiscent of beachside painted wood. The natural texture of rope gives the guestroom nightstand table lamps a nautical appeal, complemented by rustic white oak leg posts on the floor lamps that were inspired by the boardwalk. Suite 401 features a separate, yet connected kids sleeping area, reminiscent of a beach shack, with surfboard and wave art, white-washed wood flooring, white wood and rattan-style furniture, a lighthouse style lamp, and a sunset mural that fully covers the wall.
