U of D’s Zach Kerr Headed To Super Bowl With Bengals

Zach Kerr, a former Blue Hen football player, and now nose tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals, is headed to Super Bowl LVI on Sunday, February 13 in California.

After finishing his career at U of D in 2014, he went on to sign with the Indianapolis Colts as a free agent, after not being drafted.  He would remain with the Colts, getting a decent amount of playing time, until 2017.  He then signed a two year deal, and eventually an extension, with the Denver Broncos before being cut from the team in 2019.

His NFL career wouldn’t stop there.  From 2019 until now, he’s played for the Arizona Cardinals (twice), Carolina Panthers, and San Francisco 49ers.

He was picked up by the Bengals just last month, on January 19, 2022.
