Beyonce’s New Song ‘Be Alive’ In Venus & Serena Williams’ Biopic Trailer
Beyoncé surprises us once again by dropping a new song for Venus and Serena Williams’ biopic trailer titled King Richard.
Beyoncé’s new song “Be Alive” is featured in the Warner Bros. film, which is set to be released November 19 in theaters and streaming on HBO Max.
The sports drama stars Will Smith as Richard Williams, father of the soon-to-be tennis pros who dedicates himself to training his daughters Venus and Serena Williams to be the best on and off the court.
Beyoncé is heard singing: “It feels so good to be alive / That’s why I live my life with pride/ Do you know how much we have pride? / How hard we have to try?” a theme reminiscent of what is to come for the tennis stars.
Serena Williams posted the new trailer to her social media thanking Beyoncé and sharing her thoughts in the making of this personal film.
“Im SO excited for you to watch the new trailer for #KingRichard, starring Will Smith and featuring the song “Be Alive” by Beyoncé 🖤Seeing this film (based on Venus’ and my true story) come to life has been one of the coolest experiences,” the tennis star said.
Will Smith also commented on Beyonce’s soulful ballad for the film, captioning the trailer to his Instagram, “This is FANTASTIC!! @beyonce.”
