Today (August 2), The Weeknd posted a teaser video for his upcoming album, The Dawn Is Coming featuring trippy graphics, electronic music and a taste of The Weeknd's voice. At the end of the video, a giant white ball of light steadily comes into frame, until it fills the whole screen with The Weeknd singing faintly in the background.

The 31-year-old singer first teased the album last month on Twitter simply writing, "XO #1 ... the dawn is coming."

He followed that up with a series of tweets a few days later writing that he's "getting there" and "really proud of this one."

The Weeknd made it a point to note that, "just so there's no confusion, it's a full body of work..." and added a bunch of sunrise emojis.
