Check out this annual get together in Delaware! The Delaware State Fair will provide delicious deep-fried food and treats, live music, exhibits, a marketplace to shop at, and more summer festivities! The fair will run from July 22nd-31st. The Delaware State Fair, Inc. is non-profit community based organization committed to educating and promoting agricultural heritage and value. Newspapers mentions the “Delaware State Fair” as far back as 1869.
Showcasing the talents of all the citizens of the community, the fair educational activities, exhibitions, and competition involving various livestock and non-livestock. Celebrating an atmosphere of responsible community involvement and citizenship, this 10 day fair is “your Passport to summer fun.” Want free concert entertainment? This fair has it all. Last year due to the pandemic, concerts were canceled. However, this year they are back! The 2021 Concert Series will feature artists such as Lauren Alaina, Riley Green, Tracy Byrd, and more!
Social distancing & hand sanitizing stations will be set up throughout the fair grounds. A face covering is required to enter on the property of the Fairgrounds as well as to ride all of our shuttles. The fair is located at the Delaware Fairgrounds, 18500 S.
