Doja Cat, winner of the Top R&B Female Artist Award, poses backstage for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, broadcast on May 23, 2021 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.

Doja Cat’s newly released song, “Need To Know” came complete with a music video, as part of her visual album Planet Her. Like her previous release, “Kiss Me More” featuring SZA, “Need To Know” also has an intergalactic vibe to the music video.

In the video, blue-skinned Doja is surrounded by her space lady friends (one of them being Grimes), who decide to go out for the night via a flying Uber car. Upon arriving at the club, the bouncer, outfitted with a bionic eye, scans the ladies before allowing them to enter. Things get steamy when Doja sets her sights on a spaceman, whose eyes glow at the end of the video.

Twitter loved the space-themed video, with one user writing, “one thing about doja cat, her visuals are always top tier.”

Another user said, “y’all need to be prepared to give miss doja cat her mf FLOWERS  during her planet her era.”

“Doja Cat is really that girl! Like flow, versatility, bars, VIBES. What can’t this woman do?!” Exclaimed another.

Another sung praises for the singer, “My favorite thing about Doja Cat is her music videos are always so creative & just refreshing. She brings back the art in music videos and gets you excited to watch. She always look amazing too.”

“DOJA CAT NEVER MISSES. STOP PLAYIN WIT HER,” wrote one user.
