Waking Up An Hour Early Could Decrease Your Risk Of Depression
Waking up an extra hour early could do wonders for your mental health! The University of Colorado recently did a study looking at the genetic data of 800,000 adults. They found link between people’s sleeping patterns and their risk of having a major depression disorder.
The research shows that the amount of light exposure you have during the day can have serious effects on your mood. The study author gave some clear advice when saying, “keep your days light and your nights dark.”
According to DailyMail.co.uk, all you need to do is get up one hour earlier. Make sure your main exposure to light through out the day is early and dim those sources as the day goes on. And yes, that does include your phone light.
