Woman Holds Massive Mannequin Yard Sale
NEW YORK - AUGUST 3: Mannequins wait to be painted at the Goldsmith Factory August 3, 2007 in New York City City. To keep up with ever changing fashion trends Goldsmith sculptors, molders and stylists produce not only male and female mannequins but also children, pregnant women and even animals. The owner of Mannikin, a company that provides crash test dummies for TV shows like X Factor, has a little more stock than they need. In fact the number is somewhere around 20,000 total. Which is why they decided to pile all of their mannequins and dummies and invite people to take them!
Mannikin is based out of English, and have told people they can take as many mannequins as they want for $70. The catch is that they only have 15 minutes total to grab as many as they can. According to Mirror.co.uk, they also request that you don’t only take specific body parts. Which is why they have said “only 5 sets of hands per customer.”
