Telus, the Canadian telecommunications company says 900 of their customers lost service this last Saturday (April 24th). The reason they lost power was because of beavers chewing through cables. When the Telus repair crew checked to see what was causing the internet service to go down they found beavers had chewed through fiber cables in multiple locations.

In fact, the crew was even able to get pictures of the beavers taking pieces of Telus' equipment and using if for themselves to build their dams. According to UPI.com, after a full day of no internet, they were able to restore the service fully by Sunday (April 25th) afternoon.
