Delaware State Fair Concert Series Returns this July

Along with being a Digital Content Intern for WJBR, Elyse also works for the university’s Student Television Network 49 News Program and as a tour guide for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
The Delaware State Fair is back from Thursday July 22 to Saturday July 31 this summer. This past Wednesday April 21, tickets went on sale for the concert series at the M&T Bank Grandstand.
Due to coronavirus-related health and safety concerns, some performers and events are still to be determined according to the fair’s official website; however, several artists’ performances and events dates are confirmed – listed below are music events running during the fair as of April 24:

Other events that will run throughout the fair include To Be Determined events on Thursday July 22 and Friday July 30, Blippi the Musical on Friday July 23 for the kids, a Demolition Derby on Saturday July 25, and Harness Racing on Thursday July 29.
Cancelled events and shows during the fair include singer Sam Hunt, TobyMac, Tedeschi Truck Band, Hank Willams and I Love the 90s.
The state fair is adhering to all COVID-19 health and safety protocol and guidelines, including face mask mandates on when patrons are both inside buildings and when outdoors. Masks are only permitted to be removed when individuals are in their purchased pod within the M&T Grandstand. All individuals five years of age and older are expected to wear face coverings for the duration of their time at the fair.
