“Angry Ikea Guy” Roasts Customer Complaints On TikTok
Scott Seiss worked at an Ikea call center in 2016 and it has now become his inspiration for making comedy. When he worked for the company part of his job was to read emails and social media messages from customers. According to baltimoresun.com, Seiss even recalls one time a customer sent him a video of a table they set on fire because of a delay they had on a replacement piece.
In 2019 Seiss quit Ikea to move to Bloomfield, New Jersey and pursue his comedic passions. He found his claim to fame playing an angry Ikea employee on TikTok. Scott still has his old lanyard in the videos and uses real customer experiences to make his videos. There are now more than 20 videos in the “Angry Ikea Guy” series and it has gained millions of views on YouTube and TikTok.
Some celebrities that have shared his video include comedian Patton Oswalt and even Lebron James. The series only began in February 2021 and Scott has posted multiple videos per week. You can watch all of his TikTok Ikea series Here.
