Cardi B Slams U.S. Rep For Complaints About ‘WAP’ Performance
Cardi B is riled up over U.S. Rep. Glenn Grothman lecturing the FCC about her “WAP” performance at the Grammys on the floor of the House of Representatives.
The Wisconsin Republican criticized the FCC for broadcasting Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP” on national TV last month, saying it is contributing to America’s moral decline, gossip web site TMZ reports.
Grothman said he’s received complaints to his office “and rightfully so about Cardi B and the Grammys. They wonder why we are paying the FCC if they feel if this should be in living rooms across the nation.” He even says that Vice President Kamala Harris has “used her fame to promote this performer,” all while mispronouncing her first name.
Cardi ripped right back into Grothman on Twitter wondering why he is focusing his attention on her while “police brutality back to back including watching one of the biggest case in history go down DUE to police brutality but wait ! This is wat state representative decide to talk about.”
This gets me so mad ya don’t even know! I think we all been on the edge this week since we seen police brutality back to back including watching one of the biggest case in history go down DUE to police brutality but wait ! This is wat state representative decide to talk about 🤔 https://t.co/k2ZBn9gONA
