Sophie Turner recently shared her thoughts on new fashion looks she has been experimenting with in a Vogue interview.

She admitted to spending most of the pandemic in “sweats and baggy clothes,” but now has been experimenting with new styles, and trying to find her fashion identity as a mom.

25-year-old Turner said there is one trend that has unfortunately made a comeback that she will never wear: “I’m excited about embracing fashion again; I’ve been dressing up for myself. It’s actually really annoying though, because just as I’ve had a baby, everyone all of a sudden wants to wear low-rise jeans. It’s kind of offensive!”

Instead, the Game of Thrones actress is a big fan of the baggy jeans trend, saying “because I’m a mom, I’m desperate to be cool now. So I’m trying to go with baggy tops and baggy jeans. I’m definitely excited to be putting my heels on, and doing my hair and makeup.”

High-waisted jeans still reign supreme for most, but the low-rise-jean trend has been creeping its way back into the mainstream, with Y2K styles rising in popularity and even runway shows featuring the hip-hugging silhouette. See some recent fashions in the video below.

Turner said when it came to fashion, her husband Joe Jonas "surprisingly puts in a little bit more effort than me. He’s always embraced high fashion and dressing up," however, she thought it was "psychotic how he would wear jeans during the pandemic, while we were just sitting at home. I was like, 'What kind of serial killer does that?'”

Besides that very disturbing fact, she says the couple often swaps clothes and even buy the same things at times. “The hardest thing in my life is organizing the washing, because I have no idea whose is whose,” she says. “We buy and wear the exact same things. We’re always swapping clothes, especially vintage tees.”
