Britney Spears: ‘I Was Embarrassed’ By Documentary
Britney Spears posted a video on her Instagram yesterday dancing to “Crazy” by Aerosmith. At first glance, it seems like just another one of her dancing videos. But just after reading the first line in her caption, it’s clear that there’s more she wants to say.
She starts off by saying, “my life has always been very speculated … watched … and judged really my whole life !!! For my sanity I need to dance to @iamstevent every night of my life to feel wild and human and alive !!! I have been exposed my whole life performing in front of people !!! It takes a lot of strength to TRUST the universe with your real vulnerability cause I’ve always been so judged… insulted… and embarrassed by the media… and I still am till this day !!!! As the world keeps on turning and life goes on we still remain so fragile and sensitive as people !!!”
Some Britney fans don’t believe that she wrote her caption, with one comment saying, “Seems Britney is not writing this.” The comment received almost 8,000 likes so far.
Another fan with almost 8,500 like wrote, “There is not a single chance she wrote this.”
One Instagram user wrote, “Instead of dancing, can we get a video of you typing your own captions next time? I want to believe you it’s you speaking for yourself, but I am skeptical. We love you!”
Spears addressed the Framing Britney Spears documentary Hulu released this February saying, “I didn’t watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in … I cried for two weeks and well …. I still cry sometimes !!!”
Framing Britney Spears profiled the 39-year-old singer’s traumatic life in the spotlight and delved into the court-sanctioned conservatorship that gives father Jamie Spears power over her finances and personal affairs. She has been subject to a court-ordered conservatorship since 2008.

Spears is requesting Jodi Montgomery, who has been in charge of handling many of Spears’ personal affairs for about two years now, to be hired permanently as full-time conservator of her person.
