A recent poll asked 3,600 US adults how they feel about April Fools jokes. They were simply asked whether they found the practical jokes annoying or amusing. They were then broken down into different age groups:
- All Adults: 45% think they’re amusing. 47% think they’re annoying.
- People Under 30: 50% they’re amusing. 40% think they’re annoying.
- Ages 30-44: 38% think they’re amusing. 48% think they’re annoying.
- Ages 45-65: 47% think they’re amusing. 48% think they’re annoying.
- 65+: 46% think they’re amusing. 51% think they’re annoying.
