CDC May Adjust Social Distancing In Schools To 3 Feet
For over a year we’ve been hearing that we must keep a six foot distance from one another. The social distance guidelines may be shortened very soon, specifically in school environments. Dr. Anthony Fauci says he thinks it’ll likely happen. Studies have shown that children in school wearing masks are just as likely to spread the virus at a 3 feet distance as they are at 6 feet.
Which is convenient considering another part of the study found its impossible to keep children 6 feet apart in a learning environment. According to FoxNews.com, actions such has washing hands, wearing your mask, and vaccinating teachers will all be more effective in stopping the spread of the virus than trying to maintain 6 feet distance.
