People Only Want To Work In The Office “Two Days A Week”
Post-pandemic the work week as we once knew it may never be the same. A new poll done by Deloitte found that most people would like to continue splitting their weeks between working at home and from the office.
According to Independent.co.uk, 800 people were surveyed with different work backgrounds. What the found was that everyone who was capable of working from home would still like to do so when restrictions are lifted. On Average people polled said about two days a week would be the optimal time to spend in the office.
One of the biggest advantages businesses have found from remote workers is that they don’t have to be close in distance. Many businesses are able to find skilled workers that best fit their position without them needing to be close in distance. Some of the biggest challenges include workers not having all of the proper at home equipment. Also it has become increasingly difficult to train new employees. Younger workers do not have the opportunity to watch senior workers and learn from them. Still, the overall productivity of workers from home remains strong.
