Delaware Company Lands Shark Tank Deal
An entrepreneur from Lewes, Delaware received an investment deal on Friday’s (March 5) episode of “Shark Tank” that valued her company at $1.5 million.
Nancy Rothner pitched her product, Pinch Me Therapy Dough, which is a line of putty with various scents that both distract the mind and reduce muscle tension. As a hypnotherapist in Lewes, Nancy said her goal with the product was to create something that could help people unwind.
After multiple offers Rothner made a deal with Robert Herjavec. According to SussexCountian.com, he will receive 20% stake in the company in exchange for $300,000. Rothner has stated that Pinch Me Therapy Dough has had 5.3 million dollars in sales since 2015 and even sold 1.95 million worth in product in 2019 alone.
You can currently buy your own pinch me dough in two sizes. The smaller size sells for $14.99 and the larger size cost $24.99. Pinch Me Dough is now the third company from Delaware to appear on “Shark Tank” in just three years!
