Poll Ask: Do You Use Plastic Straws In 2021?
Over the past few years we’ve been encouraged to move away from plastic straws for the sake of the environment. A recent poll asked 1,300 people about their current habits when it comes to straw usage:
54% say they like to use a straw with a drink, but only for specific drinks.
18% say they always use a straw.
28% say they do not like to use straws.
Of those 28% who use a straw, 47% say they prefer a plastic straw.
13% prefer a paper straw.
10% like metal straws.
2% like glass straws the best.
