Hershey’s Raising Chocolate Price For 2021 Holiday Season
Hershey will be raising their chocolate prices for the first time since 2014. This news came when CEO Michele Buck made the announcement in an interview with Bloomberg News. Buck said that the price increase will affect products including Hershey’s kisses, chocolate bars, and their holiday chocolates.
Hershey’s net sales for 2020 rose despite the pandemic, which came from the sales of products like chocolate chips, baked products, and candies like Twizzlers. Sales from chocolate bars and Kisses however have been down. According to thehill.com, when the price announcement was made there was no indication of how much it would be changing.
