You’ll Have to Dial 302 Before The Phone Number in Delaware
Starting April 24, 2021 Delawareans will have to dial the area code 302 before any local phone number thanks to a change by the FCC. 10-digit local dialing.
6ABC says the change is due to a new FCC order, which approved 988 as the 3-digit abbreviated dialing code to reach the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, starting July 2022.
