Storybook Land Featured On 6ABC
For the first time Storybook Land in Egg Harbor Township will be receiving national attention! According to nj.com, the family owned amusement park will be featured on 6ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight.”
The episode will be airing at 8PM on Wednesday, December 16th. However, this episode has been in the works for about two years. The filming of the episode was completed in November 2019 and then they had a year of waiting. The Christmas show is now on their 8th season, it is a competition for best Christmas lights. Typically when the show features people’s houses the winner of each episode receives $50,000. However, Storybook Land will be featured in a “Heavyweight” episode meaning the quantity of lights goes beyond anything Clark Griswold could possibly put on his house!
Storybook Land has been owned by the Fricano family since 1955 and after 65 years they are so excited for the rest of the country to know their story! While they may have lost business this summer, they are opened and sold out for the winter. Reservations are currently unavailable through Christmas with all guests happy to follow their mask policy.
