There is a real movement going on in the United States right now when it comes to second hand clothing sales! The market is expected to more than triple in the next 10 years according to theconversation.com. In fact, during last year alone the secondhand clothing industry expanded 21 times faster than typical retail did.

Researchers believe this new craze will have a positive impact on the fashion industry as a whole. That is due to the major environmental affect clothing manufacturing has on the planet. Right now, you can break the secondhand clothing market into two separate groups. There are thrift stores and resellers. It is the resale that has lead to the major boom seen in recent years. It is fueled by a younger demographic that will buy secondhand clothing and then resell them for a profit.

Websites like Poshmark, Grailed, and Tradesy make it easy for users to sell their second hand clothing items for a profit from person to person.
