What will Christmas during the pandemic look like?!
Many believe the Macy's holiday tree in Ohio could be a perfect representation. The tree went viral this past week when people began taking pictures of it's mangled branches and calling it the "ultimate symbol" for 2020. According to nypost.com, the 65 foot Norway spruce appeared in Cincinnati's Fountain Square last Saturday.
Many have compared the tree to Charlie Brown's in the 1965 Christmas film or they have commented that it "must have caught Corona".
Fountain Square officials promise that the tree will soon look more joyful. Even saying, "stay tuned as we get her fluffed up and beautified after her long drive into town". Photos of the city's progress have already been posted. The tree will be decorated before the city's lighting ceremony which will take place on November 27th.
