New Jersey The “Most Hated” State In America
New Jersey is the most hated of the 50 states according to the lifestyle website Best Life. The data was collected by looking into a number of factors including rankings and statistics on population increase or decrease since 2018. Best Life used all of their resources to make a “Hatred Index” that included all of the 50 states. It started with the least hated, which is apparently Idaho, and ends with New Jersey.
According to FoxNews.com, the two main factors that landed New Jersey their spot on the list were their 2018 population decrease (-0.3%) and their lack of flagging state pride. Another interesting find was that most of the hatred towards New Jersey comes from neighboring states including: New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. The other states that make up the top 5 most hated in the US include: Texas, California, Oklahoma, and Florida.
