Parrots Separated In British Zoo For Swearing
Sometimes the bad kids need to be put in time-out. That is exactly what had to happen to five foul-mouthed parrots in London. According to CNN, Billy, Eric, Jade, Elsie, and Tyson all joined the Lincolnshire Wildlife Centre’s colony of 200 grey parrots back in August.
The African Grey Parrots have not stopped swearing at each other! Most of the guests and workers at the zoo find it quite funny actually. Nobody ever expects a parrot to say multiple different offensive phrases towards them. The parrots have now been separated to save their younger visitor’s ears. They have also been separated so they aren’t bad influences on the rest of the parrots! The zoo hopes that after a little time alone the parrots will learn their lesson and become a little more family friendly towards their visitors.
