Middletown Teenager Made Her High School Cheer Squad And Her Reaction Went Viral
After her reaction to making the junior varsity cheer squad went viral and appeared on national television, we wanted to congratulate this Middletown teenager ourselves on the Morning Show!
Teenager Kayla Kosmalski of Middletown Delaware, who has Down’s Syndrome, has been working hard towards a junior varsity position on her high school cheerleading team. She told us she’s been dancing since a very young age and it has truly paid off!
Kayla successfully made the junior varsity cheer team at Middletown High, and her reaction was full of tears of joy. Kayla’s mom taped her reaction as she found out and the video went viral, appearing on Good Morning America and the Today show, according to Delaware Online.
Amy, Kayla’s Mom stated in the caption of the video, “Have you ever wanted something so bad? Visualized it? Worked for it? Believed in yourself? And went for it? This girl fills the world with so much good…I’ve never seen her react like this. Ever. I’ve never seen her want to be a part of something so badly.”
People from all over Delaware and the rest of the world has been congratulating Kayla on her achievement.
