CVS To Hire 15,000 New Employees
In anticipation for flu-season and also the COVID-19 vaccine CVS has announced their plan to hire 15,000 new employees over the next few months. According to abc27.com, 10,000 of those positions will be based in local pharmacies and will likely distribute coronavirus tests and vaccinations.
These positions will be temporary with an opportunity for workers to make them permanent. CVS will also be hiring a few thousand other at h0me workers. They will be working in customer service taking phone calls around the country. These positions will be for 30 plus hours a week with flexibility in terms of hours you work.
The US government has already agreed that with the help of CVS and Walgreens they will be distributing COVID-19 vaccines and assistance to people in health care facilities such as nursing homes and resident care.
