Apple Announces iPhone 12 Mini
This is the first time Apple has used the term “mini” to describe one of their iPhones. Although they have had plenty of other “mini products” in the past including the iPod and iPad minis. The new iPhone will be the world’s smallest 5G device according to TheVerge.com. It is also the thinnest and lightest. It will featured a 4.7-inch screen and cost $699 upon it’s release.
The regular iPhone 12, which was also announced will have a 5.4 inch screen. That version will feature touch ID while the Mini will use Face ID as a replacement. Otherwise the 2 models are very similar including the main camera which is now 12-megapixel f/1.6, the fastest aperture of any iPhone so far.
