Mars Shines This October
For most of October Mars will be brighter than anything else around it in the sky, giving us a fantastic view of the red planet. On October 13th Mars will be in opposition, which means it will be in alignment with Earth and the sun. They will form a straight line with Earth in the middle.
Mars will rise as the sunsets and reach its peak at midnight. According to NBC News, if the sky is clear the planet should outshine everything else around it. This typically happens every 26 months or so.
Mercury will also be in retrograde starting October 13th. This will continue until November 3rd which astrologists say should continue to make 2020 a very interesting year. On November 4th Mercury will move into Libra which is the sign of scales. Ultimately retrogrades are a time to: review, reflect, and reassess!
