Governor Carney announced on Friday that he would be extending the state of emergency for the state for another 30 days, to continue the fight against the spread of Covid 19.

“We remain committed to getting more children in school, and more Delawareans back to work. To do that, we need Delawareans to stay vigilant, and follow the public health  precautions to prevent the spread of this virus,’ Carney said. ‘Wear a face covering and avoid large gatherings. Wash or sanitize your hands frequently. Keep your distance from others outside your household. We’re beating COVID-19, but this fight isn’t over. Let’s not erase the progress we’ve made.”
