WJBR’s Slice is Right Winner Cafe Riviera Will Remain Open
The announcement was made by the owner via Facebook.
In August Cafe Riviera, located in the Concord Mall in Wilmington Delaware announced that they would be closing this October. The owner, Michael J. Tumolo had made the announcement on their Facebook page in late August. The news of closure led to an out pour of support for the pizzeria, who celebrates their 40th anniversary this year. The messages, comments, and phone calls from Delaware pizza lovers inspired the Cafe Riviera to keep their doors open. Cafe Riviera also won WJBR’s Slice Is Right online competition this past month where listeners voted on their favorite slice in the state!
