Deanna and Justin In The Morning

5:30am - 10:00am

Ella Robinson, age 10, of Wilmington Delaware, who dropped off hand made crochet hats at Chester County Hospital, brought some gifts to the Mix Morning Show!

This morning, the Mix Morning Show with Johnny B and Jessie Jordan were pleasantly surprised by Ella Robinson, whom crocheted hats for newborn babies at Chester County Hospital when the hospital was facing a depletion in supplies.

Johnny B made a joke of having Ella make him a crochet hat during her interview on air, joking “it’d have to be a pretty big hat to cover my bald head.” Well, Ella stopped by to drop off handmade crochet hats for WJBR’s on air team!

Ella, only 10 years old, recently came across a Facebook post from Chester County Hospital stating they were short of newborn hats. Ella took it upon herself to crochet hats and donate them to the hospital. Read the full story here.

Ella is currently seeking out new adventures for her crocheting, checking in with other local hospitals to see if they are in need of supplies. She also told us she is designing her very own Halloween costume from scratch. She’s eager to finish a full crocheted wedding gown to celebrate Halloween this year!
