Dax Shepard Reveals He Relapsed After 16 Years of Sobriety

Dax Shepard got very personal on his podcast, Armchair Expert.

He revealed that for the past 8 weeks he has been addicted to Vicodin, the opioid painkiller.

You may recall that for the last 16 years he has been clean from cocaine and alcohol. He got hooked on Vicodin after needing the painkiller to help with injuries he had sustained. It led to him taking eight 30s a day and that’s when he got scared.

He tried to wean himself off and couldn’t. Eventually he told his wife, Kristen and as of Friday he has been clean for 11 days.
