The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) board of directors has reversed the order of no fall sports, and is now allowing high school fall sports to return in September.
The plan must be approved by the State Board of Education on Sept. 17.
If it is passed, high school fall sports will practice Delaware, beginning on September 28th. High school football games will start on Oct. 29th and other fall sports games will start on October 23.
Furthermore, if the vote is approved, it would also allow Delaware’s winter high school sports to start on Nov. 30 and spring sports on March 1st.
