Superintendent Lincoln Hohler announced that all students in the Brandywine School District will begin their school year remotely. Remote learning will last for at least the first marking period which ends November 6th. School starts September 16th. The decision comes after a School Board meeting on Monday night. In a Facebook post and announcement online, the district said that there was a 50/50 split between BSD parents requesting remote and in-person learning. BSD added that they would need more classrooms and teachers to make in-person learning work while following guidance from DOE. Remote learning will include a mix of live, interactive video instructions and recorded lessons.
