You do not need to register for this event. Bring your own chair and snacks. Practice social distancing and wear a face mask outside of your car. More details here.

The Brandywine Zoo has special Friday night hours from 5-7 pm. There will be snacks PLUS Kona ice will be selling shaved ice. The gift shop will also be open. You must wear a mask. Get your tickets, because capacity is limited!

On Saturday, you can enjoy Saturday night jazz in Wilmington on Market Street from 7:30-10 pm. This Saturday dinner & live Jazz features Jeff Knoettner- Key Board, John Coley-Drums & Barry Boyd-Bass. $5 Entertainment fee. Call 302 654 2014 for reservations.

Saturday is going to be a beautiful day for a hike! Explore nature on the Rocky Run in Brandywine Creek State Park. Meet at Thompson’s Bridge parking lot and join the hike to Rocky Run Trail. Space is limited and you can pre-register here.

Longwood Gardens is also open! It's one of my personal favorite places to spend a summer night. You can enjoy fountain shows and walk around their beautiful botanical gardens. Timed tickets are required.

Runners and Walkers! You can participate in the virtual 5K for the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware! The Ronald McDonald House of Delaware provides a safe, affordable “home-away-from-home” to families of seriously or chronically ill or injured children who are being treated at area hospitals and operates 3 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms within pediatric units of hospitals across Delaware. You have until TOMORROW to complete your 3.1 miles. Register here! I will be running mine this afternoon!
