Lady Gaga Reveals She Is On Antipsychotic Meds
Lady Gaga recently opened up to fans about her mental health struggles and getting raped as a teenager. In an interview in the New York Post, she revealed that she currently takes antipsychotic medication.
She said, “I can’t always control things that my brain does — and I have to take medication to stop the process that occurs.” She added, “I know I have mental issues, and I know that they can sometimes render me non-functional as a human.”
She also shares that her song “911” discusses olanzapine, the drug that she takes that is primarily used to treat bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
