Tornado That Touched Down In Delaware Breaks Record
The National Weather Service said that the tornado that touched down in Delaware during Tropical Storm Isaias broke a record. The EF-1 tornado, which produced winds at 105 mph, touched down in Kent County. It then stayed on the ground for 29.2 miles! That’s the longest track of any tornado in recorded history in the Philadelphia region. It traveled from Dover to Middletown causing extensive damage on the way.
