The Food Bank of Delaware is hosting drive-thru pantries this week for Delawareans struggling to afford food. Distributions start at 11 am. The food bank will hold mobile pantries today in Georgetown, Wednesday in Newark and on Friday in Dover. If you’re seeking assistance, you should register on the Food Bank’s website. Recipients must also bring a photo ID and proof of Delaware residence. Delaware Public Media, reported that because of the covid-19 pandemic, the food bank predicts that an additional 50,000 Delawareans have become food insecure.
