New Castle County Mistakenly Sends Property Tax Bill to Over 50,000 Residents
If you got an unexpected property tax bill from the county, you are not alone. According to Delaware Online, a vendor error sent bills to almost 51,000 residents who pay their taxes through their mortgage lenders. Officials say the county “is taking actions to alert citizens who received the bill by mistake”. Those who received bills by mistake will receive a letter, of course, they will not have to remit payment.
